Congressman Rick Boucher hosted the Celebration of High Speed Internet Service expansion in the Dan River  District and Patrick County.
As of October 11 th 2010 Century Link is extending HSI coverage in Claudville, Ararat, Willis Gap, Woolwine, and  along  Wards Gap and Henry County line areas.
High Speed Internet is a necessity; simply where one chooses to live ,be it City, Urban or Rural America, they deserve  the same opportunity to Technology.
Mr. Boucher has worked with me and the County of Patrick for the last 6 years to bring High Speed Internet service to Rural Patrick County.
Thanks to Rick Boucher: Century Link, Mid Atlantic Broad Band,  Citizens Telephone companies, Telecommunications Development Foundation, Spectrum Bridge, US Rural Development and the Virginia Tobacco Commission, we have made great progress in our endeavor to have High Speed Internet Connectivity in all Patrick County.
