Mitchell mill, location, Claudville, Va Dan River District, N36 35.108 W80 22.998 At intersection of rt 645 and rt 647. Old mill is still in operation . Water from Browns Dan River  turns the water wheel. Actually, the Browns Dan River and Hooker Creek intersect here with the Little Dan River.
 One natural resource we have in the Dan River District is Water. Plenty of good fishing!
